You don't even need to buy premium socks.
Like if you buy a new 6-pack of tube socks... only put say 4 pairs into rotation and leave 2 in the bag in your drawer. Then... one day when things haven't been great: maybe the winter weather is bringing you down, or your job has been tough... crack out one of the new pairs you've saved. They'll feel so soft... and any new sock feels noticeably thicker than any you've been wearing awhile. A premium foot experience - whenever you need it!

Im 40 and have been appreciating a new pair of socks for 20 years ever since those god awful socks they gave us in boot camp.
This would be great advice if the only time i ever used socks now was when it rains real heavy out here in hawaii

Let me stop you right there. Buying premium socks is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Get Darned Tough socks, you will thank yourself every time you put them on for the rest of your life, since that's how long they'll last.

I have sweaty feet all the time (ew) and got sick of cotton socks that would chafe my feet and stay wet.
Fully converted over to merino wool socks years ago and still extremely happy with that decision; they've held up quite well which offsets their more expensive price.

I had my co-workers laugh and scoff at me for buying $25/pair of Marino blend socks. They're still good 4 years later.

I remember getting annoyed as a kid at Christmas time, when I would always receive socks and underwear. Now I would genuinely appreciate them as a gift.

Slowly converting my sock inventory to all Bombas... I have weird foot sensory issues and these hug your feet so perfectly. Only complaints are they're pricey (but have 100% happiness guarantee that I've successfully used) and are thick (I think they offer thin ones but I've never bought when they were in stock).

I literally just made our first Bombas purchase today. My husband and I have thrown out like eight pairs of socks between the two of us over the last few days, because we just seem to have holes in literally every single pair we own and we've decided to just start growing them out whenever we find a hole. We're quickly dwindling our sock collection lol
